Really like this game! i've also started speedrunning it just to replay it more. My only complain would be the lack of quality options to improve perfomance on lower end devices, my pc tends to struggle at times while i don't really have such issues with other more demanding games. I do hope some sort or options to like tone down effects or something gets added in one of the next updates, on the other side i'm defintely gonna be checking what else you got in store for this!

Because the deer is scarier at night when you can't see it until it's on top of you and transforming to a wendigo. Or unless you're inside and can see the antler shadows. Other stuff is easier to catch at night, cuz audio queues. The only monster that *doesn't* have an audio queue is the deer.
This game is so unique and exciting to play. It kinda has a feel of stardew mixed with the don't starve aspect. Not many games out there when you die you basically lose everything and have to start over, but for a short game it makes sense! It was so much fun to actually beat it after dying so many times LOL. Great job making this game so brilliantly!

The controls feel clunky when trying to plant and move and it feels like all the actions that use 'f' could be rebound to space instead, since you'll never plant and water at the same time
Considering the sound design is so crucial, it would be good to add more in depth sound settings to tweak background ambience noise without affecting the story important sounds
But I love this and I'm looking forward to playing more
I love this game, but I wish there was a save option when you exited the game. Except for that, it's a wonderful game. I cannot wait to see its future and future games coming out, and that's coming from a casual gamer.
The reason i'm asking is due to the looks of the character and the Wendigo death scene. If you look at the character you will not only see the pumpkin head (assuming it's not a mask) but also the stick-like legs. But if we also look at the Wendigo death scene you will see it eating your corpse and as most of us probably know, Wendigos only eat human flesh. This made me wonder what we're playing as.
I'm probably over analysing this but i'm really curious.
I just love the aethetics and general theme, plus the gameplay is very satisfying!
However, since it is a bit challenging to learn i've found myself doing the first steps a lot so if i should give one constructive critique about the game it would be that those first minutes can be frustratingly repetitive
Edit: For example being able to start at the second day with a base of money once it's been reached would be a good example of what i mean

Really fun little indie game. However, I do wish there had been some escalation as the game continued. A new monster that shows up once you start fixing the boat, for example.
This FUCKING deer. The game is fun and satisfying for the most part but all the games tension comes from that. FUCKING. Deer! It's always right there. It's such a jumpscare every. Single. Time. that it lives in my nightmares.
It's not that scarry, it just follows you around. All you have to do is trick it so you can keep farming, if it's so close to it, pick up sticks, branches or rubies or you could even go to upgrade stuff or check fisihing rod. After that it should be a little bit more further away from your farm so you can keep farming it. Then continue loop.
Yeah I know but its hard to see at night so I always go for lantern upgrades as soon as I can reasonably afford them. If you don't see it until its right next to you...it stops being slow real suddenly.
That's truth, but I don't have many coins to spare so I can buy those, also I don't think upgrading it once will help. Once I know I can fully upgrade it then I'm going to upgrade it. Then it actually helps me a lot. But if you can't afford for lights just remember where dear is and if you want to go back up to your house or to sell stuff always go to the side and then look for dear, because you can see further in idstance when looking down. Once you find it go back up, sell or buy whatever you need, if you hear clown music just get close to dear so it tranforms into demon and then wait for it to calm down, then go to clown.
I MADE ANOTHER VIDEO ABOUT THIS AND I WAS ABLE T FINISH IT PRETTY CHALLENGING NGL. YOU HAVE TO DO ALOT OF STUFF AND MUST PRIORITIZE THE TOP TIER CROPS BUT MOST OF ALL I HAD A LOT OF FUN!!! GREAT VISUALS AND AWESOME GAMEPLAY!!! GOD BLESS AND JESUS LOVES YA!!!

she's my daughter, when I find games that are cute or baby based, like The Baby In Yellow, I bring her in to add to the cuteness lol, except this Game was also terrifying 😅
had just a regular ol first day, with 2 skinwalkers & the basic tutorial, but the second night i had both clowns but only 1 skinwalker? in my experience there's always 2, not sure if this is a bug or just because ur not supposed to ALWAYS get 2
This game is amazing, you can use many strategies to win. I like to focus on werll and bucket at first, then buy red gate, then upgrade bucket and well again and etc. I'm still trying to beat world record, wish me luck!

I downloaded this game and tried to play it, but there are some things I can suggest for the meantime, to make light in all for those who do not have easily fast PCs.
One thing to add or try to implement for a next update, is to be able to manage the graphics and be able to add to a lower setting. This may sound like a "poor person problem", but this is something to consider in my very opinion for those who just cannot upgrade their computers to handle any powerful or the usual resolutions built in Pumpkin Panic and other games.
I am a person who admittedly has a meh PC, which makes it hard for me to play unless I lower the graphics of a game. I would love to play it, but I could not even finish the beginning of the tutorial with all current graphics being choppy, but I am keeping it there in case if I can upgrade mines.
I have seen playthroughs of this very game and I do hope to see more, creepy additions to it in the very future! The charming player we have, to the misterious Crow who just yells at you to be fast, the monsters and their indicators? An amazing work at best!
Yeah, I don't even have a proper PC to play on (though my uncle is gonna help me build one) but I hope I'll be able to get one soon. I told my friends about this game adn they completed the whole thing without me, I got to watch through discord. I'd love some lower graphics to choose!

The deer can and will transform into a wendigo when you are too close to him doesn't matter when its night or day

The monsters in the game are not 100% based on the originals legends.

Many things on this game are RNG based, so the monsters behaviors can be different sometimes.

8 gigabytes will be enough
I already have the game downloaded by now, lol, but I can tell. It lags for me (I have 4 gigabytes of ram on my laptop), but it still works fine.
