Was very excited to finally have a whirl at this game and I loved the whole experience! So cute and creepy. I especially loved the art and character designs! Marvelous job!
Hardmode is busted, it's just "survive for 20 minutes until RNG kills you"
I was standing near the recycling bench picking up a coin when the crawler's noise started- I instantly sprinted for the door but it beat me there. I've min-max my runs so that I always have lamp upgrades for first night-time but I've died countless times to either deer at the absolute edge of my light radius. My first 2 day run was ended because I wasn't introduced to the fishing pole trap until then.
I tried doing this but the second I take my eyes off the screen to check the timer I'll get 1 pixel too close to the deer, and using a timer outside the game as the only way to survive a specific enemy isn't interesting gameplay anyways. It's just not viable to wait outside the cabin for 15-20 minutes at a time (the clowns specifically counter this anyways, even if you run right towards them the second the music starts you might not reach them in time).
I love this game, and it's always been fun, but it would be really nice if you guys would support modding the game. Modding games has always been fun, and enjoyable. I have already 100%'d the game before, and I would enjoy being able to make the game just a little different for once, because it's kind of getting boring. Thank you guys!

I played a bit of it 2 years ago and I've gone back to complete it! I almost made it to the end but I gave up and let my partner take over which he completed in 26 minutes -_- It's still such an awesome game!
I love this, so challenging and spooky and adorable. The tension of farming while keeping an ear out for any odd noise is FANTASTIC. But I have to confess being disappointed in using the wendigo as a generic monster stripped from cultural context. I feel too many games do it and it's lazy. A spooky deer is fun, but does it always have to be called "wendigo"?

But the reason I am commenting here is cause I have been having an issue, when I first downloaded the game it was for the 1.1 update, but when the 1.2 version released alongside it being added to steam I downloaded it there, but ever since I have I haven't been able to change my resolution from 720x400, even when I completely delete the game and download an older version the issue persists.
I don't know why as back when I first had the game I was able to change it just fine. I played the older version at 1920x1080.
If there's anything that can be done to fix it please let me know.

The crawler comes every 2-2:20 seconds so I put a 1:50 timer on every time it leaves and then stand outside the house until it shows up
(Except the first crawler who always shows up at exactly 1:30 into the run)

i had watched videos of this game and it looked amazing but back then I didn't have a pc but i just got one recently and the game did not disappoint.
