it doesnt suit this kind of game, I think. You have to finish it in one sitting. It doesn't take long too, for me i finished it in 40 minutes

(+1)

this would be perfect with multiplayer, imagine the panic

I will make it on the new version, sorry for the inconvenience

This game is very interesting, I found it really cool to mix this "cute" game vibe with horror, it reminds me a little of the history of the game "Evil Farming Game" that never existed

Gameplay PT-BR

Thank you so much for sharing your gameplay!

Definitely want to see an expanded Steam version of this. It's like Don't Starve, but more urgency & even more nightmare fuel XD.

Thank you so much!

I'm saving this game for later to play it on Halloween ^^ I'll write my opinion on it when I finish it, but it already looks so goood

That's cool! I hope you like it ^^

(+1)

Love this game!

(+1)

Love you!

(+1)

Really nice game!

However I'm wondering, what are your thoughts about the latest Unity Pricing change announcements? It seems that some devs are jumping ship, will you stay on Unity or changing the Engine aswell?

Being charged as a dev per install sounds kinda bad...

(+2)

ESPECIALLY for a "choose your own price" game

(1 edit) (+1)

I think it's not really that bad for most cases, but it does affect some studies terribly. It wouldn't be a bad option with some modifications to what they have said.

For the moment I'm staying with Unity but, I'm really considering Unreal...

Damn, dude, many people are playing your game including YouTubers, fans, random ass bums, and me. Even EddieVR played your game on his second channel, "special edd" That's good. I can't wait for more updates and maybe even you bringing Pumpkin Panic to Steam! I do love this game, and I hope there gets to be a mod community. I do wish there were modes in this game for no night or something, which is why I mentioned the mod community lol. I want these mainly cuz I'm a lil bitch. I wish the best for this game. Expanding on the "modes" thingy, I hope shortly we can get a "non-horror" mode so it can just be a farm sim game as well because I do genuinely LOVE the farming mechanics and just "parts" of it, along with the upgrades. I can keep going but it did just turn midnight to be completely honest with you so I should get some rest. Cya, and please consider my "suggestions." Edit: Pretty sure you can tell to be honest, but I was so invested in this comment to the point where I sat at my computer for nearly 30 minutes editing and reviewing this comment dude. I hope this gives you motivation to improve and add to this game!

(1 edit)

Thank you so much, I feel sorry to tell you that I'm not really interested in making a "non-horror" mode as this is a horror game, but if anyone makes a mod it would be cool!

(+1)

My one suggestion:
Linux port - Unity makes this really easy, and it should work with minimal or no changes. As it stands I cannot play the game because of this so if this could be added I would be more than happy to play it, (and if you need it I could help test the port before releasing it publicly if need be.)

Sorry for the inconvenience. I will make it with the new version i'm working on.

Goated game. You should add a few things, like new enemies, and a larger map + longer game. Also there should be harder difficulties where the clown spawns more or there are more wendigos or the candles go out faster. Also you should be able to upgrade the amount of candles you have because that's cool

Thanks for all your suggestions

(+1)

can you add more config settings like, lower grafics or higher grafics? my pc don't play this game well and have just one resolution and just the resolution will not work

I'm gonna do this in the new version i'm working on

(+1)

Just HAD to try again, this was a crazy run!! haha

Cool video! Thanks for keep playing it :)

(+1)

So I saw this game on YouTube, and it immediately caught my eye.

First of all, I really wanna thank Bilalaika for this awesome game.

The graphic style of this game is brilliant I really like how it's made, the drawn-like graphics really fit well to a farming/horror game because it gives you some kind of peace, friendly vibe. But trust me only thing in this game that is friendly is your friend Crow.

Audio and sounds are also perfectly done. Nothing is too loud, like jumpscares and all scary sounds are really scary and unsettling. And you can perfectly hear where the sound comes from.

The game design is brilliant you basically farm, but you have to do things around like hiding from monsters and collecting stuff, and plan things forward as you play. So the game never lets you rest.

Horror aspects as I said are really nicely done, because the first enemy you encounter is somewhat shown, that he is not friendly and what to do to hide from him, but others are not and you have to figure it out on your own.  Also, jumpscares are any cheap super loud sounds and they will not pop on your screen like nothing. They are scary but won't destroy peace, friendly vibe.  And that is what I personally think is the best dev done here. Because it really greatly combines peaceful farming and quest-making with horror aspects.

And if you are worried about space it only has like 200MB. So you can download it in seconds and play, I would say for such an indie game where playtime is around 1 hour approximately. Everything is done perfectly.

For me, it's surely a 5-star rating in a long time I haven't seen such a great game. I am really looking forward to playing this game in the future when more things will be added, Keep going because this game has beautiful potential.

And once more thanks for it.

why you do you do so much

Thank you so much for your kind review, it makes me really happy :)
About the jumpscares, personally, I always prefer to make a horror game around a scary and unsettling environment, rather than simple and repetitive scares. So I really appreciate you commenting on that.

I never even made it through a whole night, I'm terrible at these kinds of games (it just looked so fun that I couldn't resist trying), but I had so much fun watching videos of other people play! It's such a cool little game!

Thank you so much! That means I did a good job scaring people.

(+1)

the plants don't grow and I also can't interact with the bucket or the well. Pls help.

You have to water plants a few times.

(1 edit)

maybe u don`t understand `cause my english, but i say what i even can`t use the bucket.

Very good game. First night was extremely scary. The starting tutorial is very good at establishing the core mechanics, but then you're thrown at the rest of the game without knowing what to do, and what does stuff do. I only played for an hour, died 4 or 5 times, and I still don't know how half of the game works. The game needs more "crowsplaining". I don't want to have to see a streamer playing the game to be able to enjoy it without the game being unfair for not explaining the rules.

Also, I'm playing with an Xbox controller, but I can't move the cursor on the shop, I have to buy stuff using the mouse and that's a bother.

Thanks for your feedback. You should be able to move the selection with the xbox controller using the D-Pad.

I watched special edd @Sauceddie play the game on YouTube and decided to try it myself. I beat the game on the first try, it was fun!
Zero Deaths

Goodjob completing the game!

Hi! I’ve seen a ton of videos about your game and I’m very interested in playing but I’ve had problems running the game on IOS so if there is a current solution could you let me know, I’ve seen others run the game on IOS and I’ve asked to know but they don’t respond, thank you :)

The game isn't available for mobiles yet, if you seen any mobile version, it's a stolen game. Please, report it.

i need help i try to open it in the file but it will not work every time i try it says: the app your trying to install isn't a microsoft-verified app installing apps from the store helps to protect your pc and keep it running smoothly. then there are two options get apps from store the over is change my app recommendation settings. can i please get some help i what to play this great game

(1 edit) (+1)

You have windows in "S" mode, this mode is an ultra-secure mode that only allows you to install software from the official Microsoft store. You can google "Switch out of S mode" to get instructions to disable S mode.

Thanks for helping out!

(+1)

Really good game but the only thing I've had problems with is me moving and the buttons lagging idk if that's the game or my laptop

Thanks!

(+2)

I love it so much! It've been a serious thing to survive, specially because I was a little silly at the begining and didn't see the clown's note in the house :') and after that, I don't know how, but didn't see that I've to buy the gears in the workbench, no fishing them lmao I don't know why I thought that I'd to fishing them, possibly because of the good ambient and tension of the game I got a little nervous xD

I've to say that I feel is all perfect just like I've play it now, obviously I'll love see more content in the future and I hope to buy it as soon as possible when it's available in steam. The only things I would suggest are maybe an upgrade for the chandelier (but I understand it's part of the thing to get out soon in the ship); more interaction with the little crow, maybe like an optional extent tutorial that you can disabled to keep to others the essence of the original version, and other type of dialogue of course for the people that have this option disabled, and the last thing I would suggest, is an encyclopedia for the monsters, I think would be a great thing to identify them in their differents modes and read a little about them ^^

Thank you so much for all your feedback and ideas, it really helps!

This game is very good, and i like the new changes, but can you make it so the deer cant come onto the docks? i have had multiple games where the deer walks onto the docks and leaves me with no way out and i die. it would be fine if you cant hide there after you get too close, but if he starts walking towards you while you are on the boat, that is just a cheap death, especially when night falls and you cant even see him closing you off.

Thanks so much for your comment!
The dock is a dead end on purpose. It adds more stress when repairing the boat.

(+3)

I really enjoyed this game I tried speedrunning it and I got 23 minutes :D

And maybe for expanding the game since people love it, when you leave the area it would get you on a new farm with new enemies but dying won't restart you to the first farm(Maybe) :)

What a good time! Of course, If you die on the second level, you restart from the second level. Dying is map based

(+1)

10/10 This reminds mexicans the stories telled by our grandfathers about how scary was rising a farm far away from the city,by the way ¿Where is the character going?

Thanks! You'll see where it goes in the next update

(+2)

it should be possible to play this game without sound. Maybe a sort of radar symbol in the corner that lights up, either blinking with increasing frequency or some wifi signal symbol that helps to find the clown without sound. and a fading symbol to show the timer for when the skinwalker comes

Yes, I want to make the game more accessible. I am working on it :)

(+1)

This game was crazy fun and addicting! I spent all night playing even though I knew I should of been sleeping. I honestly wasn't expecting it to be as scary as it was

Thank you so much!

(+1)

will there ever be a 32-bit version? its defo fine if you cant

I want to make it for the new version

(+1)

здравствуйте, а в игре есть русский язык или только английский?

(+1)

Sorry for the inconvenience, it's only English for the moment,

(+1)

Really enjoying the game  any plans for save points or hiding mechanics? Sorry for the back to back questions just curious and extremely excited

(+3)

I really think this game would do well on Steam for $4.99 or maybe if you can make a bigger version with new areas/different monsters, etc, you could sell it on there for more. This game is really good but has potential to be amazing!

That's the plan! ;)
