Honestly, the concept of this game has a lot of potential, trying to farm while avoiding and hiding from horrible creatures trying to get you and you can't do anything about it so this was really fun and scary I didn't manage to beat it because ima noob but ill be taking another crack very soon overall this is a great game so good job! also I made a video so i hope you enjoy my stupidity :p
I love the gameplay of this game, I wish there was a harder mode to play. I have some ideas to make the gameplay a bit harder. All of the ideas I put here could be put in a hard mode difficulty, so the laid-back people can play the game and not stress out over a bunch of new mechanics or new changes (maybe the hard mode can be unlocked after completing the normal version). First, add a Well Monster. I liked the jumpscare from the well, it made me think there was a well monster for a while. After learning that it was just a jumpscare, I was really disappointed that there isn't a monster. My idea for a monster that is in the well could be that every once and a while, the monster can appear from the well and you have a small but reasonable amount of time to get out of range of the well (about 3-4 seconds). If you fail to get out of range of the well in time, you'll die and lose the run. If you do add a hard mode, make it so that the price is increased by 50% to make it more of a challenge, increase the Wendigo's speed a small amount (like 25%) and decrease the time spent in the house a small amount.
If you add difficulties to the game, also make a Impossible difficulty. The difficulty can have
. 200% increase to all prices (even the gears)
. add multiple wendigo's (1 wendigo day 1, 2 wendigo's day 2, 3 wendigo's day 4, ect.)
. decrease the time you can spend in the house by a decent amount
. make it a chance that crops won't give you money
. fishing won't give you fish most of the time
. no grace period (no tutorial in Impossible difficulty.
. add multiple clowns in a night or decrease their timer a decent amount
. no workbench to make money.
. make the nights longer
. more things I can't think of right now that could make it a lot harder
I think beating Impossible difficulty should give a reward too, could be a in-game costume or statue in the house. It could outside the game too, but I wouldn't know what you could do.
The game is fun but it can get a bit repetitive at times. There could be huge potential with this game, for the more laid-back players, casual players and the people who want a challenge. The only times I died was once by the clowns because I didn't know how it worked, and about 5 times by the wendigo because I accidently got in range of it (it was very annoying at times). I'd love to see this game grow so people can play it.
also add the full game on steam for 5 or 10 dollars (maybe more if there is a huge amount of content), if you have an hour or two to kill, I would recommend this game. Since it is free for now, it will only waste 15 to 30 minutes of your time to try.
Wow I love your ideas, I managed to beat game easily now because I already figured everythig out. Only one thing, what is wendigo? Is that a dear? Why did you call it that? I would also like to add that player can't upgrade their speed and collecting stuff around like sticks, branches or those rubies would only slow them down, ofc workbench wouldn't be there, but that could be still funny to troll players that learn lol.
The deer are Wednigo in disguise - a Wendigo is from mative american mythologies I think, and they are creatures that eat humans and are attracted to death. A human could become a Wendigo by eating another human. And a Wendigo can also disguise themselves as deer, hence the deer-skull and weird no-deer anatomy of the creatures. Hope I helped!

My friend suggested I played this game, and I am soooo glad I listened to them! This is an amazing game! I love the mechanics in it, the ways that it keeps you on edge all the time, the graphics!! It's such a good horror game. I adore it!
Absolutely loved the game! The art style caught my attention and even though I sort of knew it'd be a horror game everything still caught me off guard and put me on edge. It does a really good job at making you feel panicked throughout the entire time when you don't yet know what to expect, after I figured it out it got much easier. Still took me a few tries to beat, I swear that deer was the bane of my existence lol. I did die due to a soft-lock at some point, I think it might have been a bug? The deer approached the house at night and stood right by the door not letting me leave and not turning when I get closer to make him run away, making me die to the shadow when the candles ran out. Other than that though, I had a wonderful tim with it. Looking forward to any potential updates!

The only problems that i have found is that the 4 plants that you can cultivate arent that necessary, you need to plant the cauliflowers and the yellow flowers but you just dont need to plant the orange flowers more than one or two times because its better to just plant the last plant, but maybe this is just because the way i play idk D:
also when i get too close to the bald monster and dodge it, it still attacks and i die even if im pretty far from it
I'm in love with this game! I understand that she is only a couple of months old and now she is damp, so I have a couple of ideas to make her more interesting!
Deer can eat your vegetables (so you have to take him away from them)
Vegetables will dry out if they are not watered for 24 hours (planted at night - they will not bring money the next night)
more difficulty levels! Plants take longer to grow, the main character runs slower, and so on.
Once I figured out the controls, I finished the game in 40 minutes and I would love to go back to it again :( So I will definitely wait if there are any updates
I’m not sure but for me when I rest my computer and paused all updates in the settings for seven days it runs a little better I also make sure nothing is running in the background like vanguard or epic games or steam. probably depends on the computer. I play on our old MacBook that has windows on it. Lol I hope you find a way to fix it and play this game it is a gem
I really enjoyed the randomized timing of the crawling monster, lets call him LARRY. Larry, decided it would be amazing timing to run up on me while I was evading the deer, lets call him STEVE. So Steve is slowly marching up on my ass while I'm getting water so I try to walk around the well and avoid. Larry's song came on and I didn't hear it over the sound of my water can filling and my inner panic of mister Steve closing in. So by the time I walk away from the well I hear Larry's violin screeching in my ears and I BOOKED IT towards my house just to miss both by the hair on my ass cheeks. Super fun game, will be trying to speed run it tomorrow. ;P
I have a few complaints. I love this game, but when I try to record it on obs, it just destroys my computer. No other game has done that. It crashes consistently so a save feature would be nice. I've had to restart about 12 times because there's no save which really strips it of fun.
i have a very beefy computer so i don't know why only this game does it. I am yet to complete the first 5 mins of the game for this reason.

Su dificultad está muy bien pensada, además de que sus mecánicas son interesantes y bastante profundas, y, a diferencia de lo que veo en otros muchos juegos de este estilo, el terror no las opaca.
El factor de terror es genial, me recuerda al "si pierdes, te asusto" de juegos como FNAF o Poppy Playtime, pero mil veces mejor, pues el ambiente (sobre todo por la noche) suele dar mas miedo que el mismo monstruo, esto junto con el sonido particular de ese monstruo haciendose más y más fuerte, justo antes de ver su silueta en la luz de tu linterna y morir (también en la vida real por un ataque cardiaco)
Aunque tengo algunas pegas:
Si mueres, debes hacerlo TODO de nuevo, incluso el tutorial, estaría bien añadir una especia de check point o sistema de guardado, pero teniendi en cuenta lo cortas que son sus partidas, tampoco es necesario
Las semillas, menos la quinta y segunda, son casi inútiles, pues es muy facil tan solo hacer una o dos cosechas de las segundas semillas, pescar dos peces y pasar diréctamente a las quintas.
El ciervo, POR DIOS, EL CIERVO, me gusta la idea de un monstruo que esté siempre bagando por la granja, bloqueandote algunos caminos o dificultandote la uhida de otros monstruos, pero se me hace muy injusto que ande SIEMPRE hacia ti, pues se convierte en algo que solo molesta TODO EL RATO sin dejarte descansar, porque, en cuanto se des-transforma, vuelva a la granja AL INSTANTE, admás de que, como estés un poquito lejos de la casa, no podrás escapar del ciervo si se transforla, lo que lo hace una mecánica injusta, frustrante, y para nada divertida

As a Bad player i suggest for a Save option even if the game is 40-60min playtime, i dont like to repeat everything just bcuz the damn clown with the baloon spawns inside a Farming zone that i cant buy :(
I absolutely LOVE this game. It's very high quality and I can imagine seeing this game on steam. I believe people would definitely buy the game if you added a price. I'm addicted to playing pumpkin panic. I'm begging you to add more, like another level or chapter.
Speaking of expansion, if you do end up making another level you could expand upon the player's outfits, making more colors and or fabrics as I unlocked all of the clothing options fairly quickly. You could also potentially give the pumpkin mask options like a regular mask, for example a bunny mask or potentially a jack-o-lantern and they could turn on the lantern & their face glow as well.
You could potentially add a clock/calender in order to track how many days you've survived and if it's turning night time soon.
Things you might want to know
For some reason the clown was very hard to beat for me, I'm not sure if other people struggled with this but I thought the note was a trick or a way to lure the player in. I had to look up how to not die by the blue clown, and I'm not sure if I would've figured it out, had I not. In hindsight it seems obvious, though.
Secondly, the deer's rage can be triggered through walls! Sometimes the deer corners the player whilst the player is in their house, usually happens when the wendigo is spawned, making it even harder for the player to leave the house and more possibility for their shadow self to kill them. However, if you and the deer get close enough, the deer will transform and run away because it can't walk through the door, and ultimately freeing the player. I am unsure if that feature is intentional or not, so I figured I'd try to let you know!
Hey, so I think the game is amazing!!! I would also like to play in Multiplayer. Either way I think its great and feel free to ask for more! Just great! But just a small safe point would be useful. :)
1. you need to extract the ZIP file to a destination where you can find the folder extracted from the file
2. open the folder extracted from the zip file and you will find an .EXE file that says "pumpkin panic"
3. right click and click "create shortcut" (so you will have a quick shortcut to put on your desktop to quickly access the game)
PS. step 3 you can also skip it but you will be forced every time you want to play to open the folder you extracted from the ZIP file and click the EXE file "pumpkin panic"
Outstanding game, really hard at first but grows on you! All the enemies are incredibly creepy and occasionally unpredictable (especially as the days go on!).
It is a shame by some point I had so many coins I was able to buy the final items in no time, but it is a minor thing in an otherwise super fun and super addictive experience! Nice work!
if i try to play the game it says : "The code execution cannot continue because UnityPlayer.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may resolve the issue" i downloadet it many times and it doesn't work. can somebody help me?
Don't remove the application from the file after it's extracted. Leave it in the folder in the downloads section, a lot easier to play. and play the "1.1" version.
idk,third seed the melancholic one or wtv doesnt plant for me neither on pc or phone and i have it from different sources. mobile is from google play ,should be working right? aside,great game.

idk,third seed the melancholic one or wtv doesnt plant for me neither on pc or phone and i have it from different sources. mobile is from google play ,should be working right? aside,great game.
